Fall in Nova Scotia

Fall in Nova Scotia is crisp, colourful and such a great time to explore the province. As the temperature cools, the leaves change and the crowds start to thin out, making it an ideal season for a quieter getaway.

It’s the season for cozy layers and weekend drives through back roads lined with red and gold. Head out to see fall colours in the Annapolis Valley or Cape Breton, where the scenery is especially stunning this time of year.

And there are plenty of other ways to make the most of the season—like apple picking at local orchards, visiting a pumpkin patch, or joining one of the ghost tours around Nova Scotia that bring spooky stories to life in historic towns.
