My Story
Exploring Nova Scotia
How We Found Home in Nova Scotia
Originally from Ontario, my kids and I were planning to travel full-time after selling our house. But during a road trip through the East Coast, we fell in love with Nova Scotia. What was supposed to be a winter stay turned into a new beginning. We arrived in November and spent those first months embracing the winter season—something I’m usually not a fan of—but I loved that we could visit the beach any time of the year, even in the cold.

Exploring Nova Scotia
When summer arrived, we made it our mission to explore as much as possible. Long weekends and day trips became filled with chasing waterfalls, discovering tiny towns, and venturing all over the province—from the Annapolis Valley and South Shore to Cheticamp and the Cabot Trail. But it’s the Eastern Shore that truly feels like home, where the sight and sound of the ocean are always within reach.
